2 ASU football players arrested, facing burglary charges

Two football players for Arizona State University are facing burglary charges after being arrested over the weekend.

ASU police tell Fox 10 that junior defensive lineman Deonte Reynolds and sophomore safety Jayme Otomewo are facing second-degree burglary charges in connection with their arrest.

According to court documents, officers responded to a burglary in progress call on Saturday afternoon and both men admitted to stealing credit cards from student housing at 701 E. Apache Blvd.

ASU is preparing to play West Virginia in the Motel Six Cactus Bowl at Chase Field on January 2nd. The school has not commented on the status of the two players.
