2 suspects in custody following home invasion, standoff in Phoenix

Police say two suspects are in custody and a third is outstanding following a home invasion and standoff in Phoenix.

Phoenix police say the suspects were spotted driving aggressively around two other vehicles, one of which was driven by an off-duty Phoenix police officer, near Seventh Avenue and Elwood at midnight.

A suspect fired gunshots, hitting the off-duty officer's vehicle, however, no one was injured.

After the shooting, two of the suspects broke into a home near 32nd Avenue and Polk Street, where as many as seven people lived. A third suspect ran from the home.

Police officers arrived at the home and after negotiations, the two suspects, identified as 18-year-old Angel Leon and 30-year-old Coltin Friedenstab, were taken into custody. The third suspects remains on the loose.

No one inside the house was injured.
