GLENDALE, Ariz. - A Texas man is facing a felony count of sexual abuse after police say he inappropriately touched a woman at the Arizona Cardinals football game on Sunday.
Police say while the woman was standing in a stairwell at the University of Phoenix stadium, 24-year-old Benjamin Mauro placed his hand on her leg as he walked by and then touched her inappropriately.
Officers say she hit Mauro with her phone and held onto his shirt until security arrived.
According to police, Mauro denied touching the woman.
Court records show he had been intoxicated.
Mauro was taken into custody.
