GILA BEND, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Maricopa County Sheriff's Office deputies are searching for male suspect who tried to kidnap child from a vehicle in Gila Bend.
According to MCSO, a couple was inside their vehicle and the father stepped out to lock the door to his home when an unknown male went into the car and grabbed a 4-year-old girl.
Authorities say the girl wasn't harmed, but the suspect ran away into the fields, possibly into the reservation.
The victims describe the suspect as being high on drugs. Per MCSO, the suspect is described as a thin Hispanic or Native American male, 20-30 years old, wearing a brown shirt, blue sweats and blue hat.
Deputies are searching the area, but haven't located the suspect.
