PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Cooler temperatures, cloudy skies and rainy weather arrived in Arizona as a weather system moved in from the west.
The National Weather Service says a one-two punch of storms hit the Phoenix area. The first brought nearly an inch of rain in Maricopa County, with Wickenburg among the hardest-hit areas. The second wave is expected to arrive midday and continue into the evening.
The system brought a drop in temperature as well. It's expected to top out in the high 60s in Phoenix on Monday.
Higher elevations in the Flagstaff area could get two inches of snow Monday night.
