TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say 20-year-old Brandon Sorrentino was caught in the act on October 5 when he was taping a co-worker inside a bathroom at the Xerox Office in Tempe.
The man told Maricopa County Authorities that he was using the restroom when he noticed a light from a cell phone down below and saw that he was being recorded.
He quickly alerted security, police seized Sorrentino's phone and that was just the start. When police went through the phone, they found more than 40 different videos taped inside bathrooms all across the Valley.
The videos that police found were dated back to September 23 and included bathroom shots from inside Talking Stick Resort and Ak-Chin Pavilion.
Police say they spoke to Sorrentino's husband on the night of the incident and he told investigators that Brandon had a sex addiction and feared that he might be experiencing suicidal thoughts.
The Sorrentino's live in the 800 block of E. Curry Road and Sorrentino faces one felony count of surreptitious digital recording.
