GLENDALE, Ariz. - Glendale Police say a woman was calling 911 for help when she was hit by a bullet that came through a door and struck her in her bedroom.
Police say the shooting happened at about 1:15am at an apartment complex near 67th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. Police say a woman called 911 for help, and when officers arrived, they found she had been shot. The victim was suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, and she was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Officers say sixteen shots were fired, and one of the rounds came through the victim's Arcadia door and into her bedroom. Police have not released a suspect description at this time.
