Valley family says thief stole Christmas presents, puppy

- A real-life Grinch broke into Raghu Radarevu's north Phoenix home and stole some precious gifts.

"My wife came home yesterday after dropping our daughter off at school and found that the puppy was gone, Christmas presents were gone and our laptop and iPad; our house had been ransacked," he said.

Rosa is a King Charles Spaniel Poodle-mix and was a birthday gift for Raghu's 8-year-old daughter.

"Yeah, she was great, she was only with us for two-and-a-half weeks, but we fell in love with her," he said.

Raghu says Rosa has some distinguishing features.

"A really, full sort of fluffy hair chin that's white and a nice stripe of white on her belly," he said.

Raghu says everything stolen can be replaced except their little dog. He hopes people can help spot their puppy in person or online.

"Police were saying that a lot of people stealing these dogs and put them up on Craigslist and other places, like that people might be selling puppies," he said.

Raghu has lived in the neighborhood for years and has never had an issue. He says if you see the puppy, she may not make much noise -- she was just learning how to bark.
