Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies have just announced that they have arrested a man in connection to two bodies that were found in the rubble of a burned-out home in Surprise.

Officer Chris Hegstrom with MCSO says Anthony Fimbres faces two counts of second-degree murder.

The fire broke out early Saturday morning on Jomax road, near 155th Avenue.

Flames engulfed the home and fire investigators located a body after the fire was extinguished.

Today, sheriff's deputies announced a second body had been discovered.

"With the structure having burned completely to the ground, we have to go through every bit of rubble to try and determine what it was, what caused this, what the nature of this was, whether this is an arson investigation, or whether it wasn't. Those are all things we need to try and figure out."

The identities of the bodies haven't been released. At this time it is still unclear if they died in the fire or in another manner.
