Jury selection begins in the first trial in the shooting death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry who was gunned down in Southern Arizona.

Terry's killing exposed the federal government's botched "Fast and Furious" gun running sting. The operation was designed to track illegal gun sales to traffickers, one of those guns was used to kill Agent Terry, now two men are facing trial.

Two others already pleaded guilty, and two more are still fugitives. In December of 2010 the men were allegedly part of a rip crew, who set out to rob marijuana smugglers in the desert. Agent Terry was involved in a shootout with the crew and was killed. Two weapons found at the scene were linked to the Fast and Furious Operation.

In Fast and Furious ATF agents let criminals buy guns in an effort to track them across the border. But the agents lost track of up to 2,000 weapons including the two found at the scene. A federal judge ruled that no testimony about the program will be allowed during the upcoming trial.
