Officials with the Cochise County Sheriff's office announced the arrest of a 70-year-old bus driver, accused of inappropriate actions towards a 12-year-old female student.
According to a statement released Tuesday afternoon, David Fabian Falcon was arrested on July 5, and was booked into the Cochise County Jail for alleged sexual abuse. Sheriff's officials said they were advised of an incident alleging inappropriate actions being taken by a Sierra Vista Unified School District bus driver towards a 12-year-old student that was on his bus route.
The girl, according to the statement, reported the situation to his mother at the end of May, and the incidents reportedly took place in April and May. An investigation later revealed multiple alleged incidents of inappropriate behavior and touching by Falcon towards the alleged victim.
Falcon, according to the statement, was terminated by the Sierra Vista Unified School District. Bond for the Sierra Vista man was set at $100,000.
