SILENT WITNESS: Man uses machete in convenience store robbery

- Phoenix Police are asking for the public's help with searching for a man who robbed a Circle K store using a machete.

On Monday, June 26, 2017, at about 10:10 a.m., the suspect entered a convenience store located at 31st Avenue and West Indian School Road in Phoenix.

He threatened the clerk with a machete and demanded money from the registers.

The employee complied and the suspect was last seen running away on foot.

The suspect is described as a Native American man, in his mid 20s to early 30s, at 5 foot 9 inches to 5 foot 11 inches, and weighing 180 to 210 pounds. He also had a mustache, goatee and glasses. He was wearing globes and a blue bandana was covering his face.
