Tempe man who chased off naked home intruder talks about what happened

- Tempe Police officers are still trying to looking for a man who allegedly intruded on a family's home, while he was naked.

On Thursday, the homeowner who discovered the intruder talked about the experience.

"You can't believe the surprise of a full naked grown man walking into your house," said the homeowner, who is only identified as Tyler.

That intrusion incident happened at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.

"My wife and kids, we were all gather in the master bedroom eating lunch," said Tyler.

In the middle of that lunch, Tyler's wife's eyes went to the french doors leading into their bedroom. On the other side was the naked man. Tyler said the man proceeded to open the door. His wife jumped up.

"A man in the house, Ty. There's a man in he house, he's naked," said Tyler.

Tyler said he grabbed their gun, and chased the man out of their home and right into their backyard gazebo. He said the intruder began to dress himself back, in clothes that were inside of the gazebo.

"All the while he pleaded don't shoot me," said Tyler.

Meanwhile, Tyler's wife called police. Tyler said it appears the intruder came over the fence and walked right in through their backyard.

He ran out the same way.
