Students at high school in Surprise back in class, after threatening letter results in evacuation

- Students at a high school in Surprise are back in their classrooms, after they were evacuated over a threatening letter Thursday afternoon.

According to officials with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the incident took place at Paradise Honors High School.

According to MCSO officials, no one was hurt, and all personnel have been evacuated, in the interest of school safety. Officials did not divulge the nature of the threat. Officials announced at around 3:00 p.m. that the school grounds are deemed safe, and students are back in their classrooms.
