2nd public meeting held on proposed renovations at Talking Stick Resort Arena

PHOENIX (FOX 10) -- On Monday, a second public meeting was held on the proposed renovations at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

The multimillion dollar plan to renovate Talking Stick Resort arena, and keep the Suns in Phoenix for at least the next 23 years, was unveiled by the Phoenix City Council. Talking Stick Resort Arena was built in the early 1990's, and is in need of an overhaul. Under the deal, the city will pay for infrastructure repairs, while the team will upgrade amenities inside. The vote, however, was delayed in December.

During the meeting on Monday, there was some discussion about the history of Talking Stick Resort Arena. FOX 10's Matt Galka reports.
