The bride says that when she first started dating the groom, she noticed that he had the Back to the Future Movies on constant replay. So she wasn't surprised when he suggested the movies as their wedding theme! The event took place at McCormick Ranch Golf Club, starting at time Marty McFly took off for the future. The couple has a bright future ahead, but to celebrate their nuptials, they went Back to the Future.
"It's my favorite movie from when I was a child, so I watched it religiously, there wasn't a week that went back I didn't watch Back to the Future 1, 2, and 3," said Salvatore Aiello.Groom Salvator Aiello and his bride Anastasia transported guests to the 50's, 80's, and the movie's version of 2015. From futuristic groomsman ties to a mini Hill Valley clock tower. The ceremony started the exact time Marty lands in 2015.
"We got so many calls with the invitations are you sure 4:29 why cant you do 4:30," said Anastasia Aiello.Inside the reception, an iconic 80 wedding cake topped with a groom in futuristic gear. And the DJ stand straight out of the "Enchantment Under the Sea" Dance.
Instead of a traditional photo booth they opted for a green screen, and the pictures you take really do take you back; hover board and all.But what about all the predictions from the movie? Did they hold true on Anastasia and Salvator's big day?
"I think it will rain so pretty on par with the movie so that should be good, I'm not sure about Goldy Wilson or hover cars, but we will see," said Salvatore. The groom says that they took their hoverboard out to the bar last night before the big day.
