PHOENIX (KSAZ) -
A Phoenix man is behind bars, accused of attacking two women and trying to sexually abuse them. The first victim was dropping off her kids at daycare when the attack happened; the second was a postal worker just trying to do her job.
The first attack happened on Tuesday when a 35-year-old woman was dropping her kids off at a daycare near 102nd Avenue and Parkway Drive. The suspect, Juan Olguin allegedly exited his car, put both hands on her waist and pulled her towards his car. The victim was able to get away and ran to a friends house where she called the police.
The second attack happened minutes later when Olguin allegedly grabbed a postal worker's buttocks and grabbed her breast. The suspect reportedly asked the victim if "she liked it" before she got away and called the police.
On Wednesday, the suspect was seen by two women in the same neighborhood masturbating in his vehicle. Police were called, and officers took him into custody.
All the victims identified Olguin as the suspect in the assaults. He reportedly made admissions to detectives and stated he had sexual urges and was attracted to the victims.
Olguin has been booked into jail on charges of attempted kidnapping, public sexual indecency, sexual abuse, and assault.
