PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Police say a woman is dead after four people were struck by a hit-and-run driver early Friday morning in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, a 2006 silver Mazda 6 was heading eastbound on Camelback Road, near Seventh Avenue, just before 2:30 a.m. when it hit four pedestrians who were not in a crosswalk.
Phoenix police say the driver of the car did not stop after the collision and left the area.
The four pedestrians, three women and one man, were taken to nearby hospitals. where one of the women, identified as 25-year-old Khadijha Taylor, died at the hospital.
One of the other women has critical injuries.
