TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Arizona State Police are investigating an online threat made towards students from an anonymous source. The threat was posted anonymously online on 4Chan, with the poster saying he was going to use a semi-automatic rifle to shoot women and "fratboys."
Police say there are false reports of the threat floating around social media.

ASU police also said they "are aware of unsubstantiated social media threats to a university in Arizona."

ASU police also want to remind everyone to report any suspicious activity witnessed on campus.
