PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police are looking for a person of interest in connection to a fatal hit-and-run last month.
Phoenix police are looking for 23-year-old Rudy Loyoza Jr., who is the registered owner of a vehicle that allegedly struck and killed 54-year-old Darryl Hampton on Oct. 20 at 11 p.m. Hampton was walking on a sidewalk along 19th Avenue when a white, 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass crossed the centerline and struck Hampton.
Hampton died at the scene of the crash.
Rudy Loyoza Jr. is described as a Hispanic man, 5'8" to 5'9" and 200 pounds. Detectives consider him to be an investigative lead in the case and have been unable to find him.
