PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities say a Peoria woman has been arrested in the fatal shooting of her husband in Peoria.
According to court documents, 46-year-old Christine Deason is jailed on a $1 million bond on suspicion of second-degree murder.
It was unclear Monday if she has a lawyer yet.
Peoria police say Deason called 911 last Friday to report her husband may be dead.
She told officers she and her spouse were going through a separation and he came to their house to collect some of his belongings.
Deason says the two argued and she grabbed her husband's gun from under their bed and fired several shots.
The man's name wasn't immediately released.
Police say he was pronounced dead at a hospital and had four gunshot wounds to his back, arm and torso.
