But if you hear jet aircraft flying in the west valley, we're not under attack. The U.S. Air Force says it's practice for Luke AFB pilots and some out of town guests.

For the next two weeks, Luke AFB is holding a large-scale exercise with pilots from Singapore. It's called "Forging Sabre" and includes both day, night, and weekend flying until December 13.

F-15 Eagles will join the F-16's already based at Luke along with other aircraft.

This all happens just a couple of weeks after the U.S. Army conducted training in downtown Phoenix with helicopters flying at night with all lights turned off.

It seems the military has been busy all over the country. B-52 bombers will take part in a large training operation starting Wednesday. Those flights will go over the Dakota's, Wyoming, and Montana.

It was just last May that Operation Jade Helm alarmed residents in Texas so much that public hearings were held statewide, prompting the Governor to order the National Guard to keep watch.

And last March U.S. and British Paratroopers took part in a combined operation over North Carolina. The Pentagon says that was the largest such air drop in 20 years.

According to a nationwide poll by Rasmussen Reports, 2/3 of Americans are worried the Government will use military training operations to impose greater control over states.
