Phoenix Police are investigating an unknown package that was left on the light rail platform in the area of 7th Ave and Camelback Road.
Camelback was closed between 3rd Avenue and 7th Avenue while officers investigated the scene.
By 5:00 p.m., police said the area was safe, but their investigation is ongoing.
Just before 7:00 p.m., Valley Metro announced that the tracks had been re-opened at 7th Avenue and Camelback for the trains to run.
