4 apartments damaged in Phoenix fire

PHOENIX (FOX 10) - A half-dozen people are looking for a new place to stay this morning after a fire several apartments in Phoenix on Tuesday.

According to Wiliam Benedict with the Phoenix Fire Department, four apartments were damaged in the fire near 19th Avenue and Mountain View Road.

Firefighters say a fire in one of the apartments spread to the attic. Eight to 10 people are now looking for another place to go and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
