FLAGSTAFF - The Snowbowl ski resort reported an outage on Sunday after trees toppled down, snapping power lines. Crews are working to restore electricity to the area.
The lifts have been shut down while crews work to restore power. Once power has been restored, the lifts will be open until 4:30pm.
Areas like the snow recreation sites along US 180 near Flagstaff are expected to be busy with people playing in the snow. The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising drivers to be prepared for slow traffic and winter driving conditions in that area.
On Saturday evening, traffic slowed down to a crawl for a ten-mile stretch as drivers headed back to Flagstaff.
