7-pound 'Gridiron Burger' headlines new food items at Cardinals games

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - It's that time of the year when people start to get excited for the start of football, but in addition to the action on the field, the Cardinals are debuting some new food options at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.

One of the new additions to the menu at Cardinals games is the "Gridiron Burger," but not everyone can handle it.

The burger patties weight more than five pounds, and it has five beef hot dogs, five bratwursts, 20 slices of cheese, eight slices of bacon, eight chicken tenders, 12 ounces of fries, lettuce, pickles, tomato, tanker sauce, and 10-inch buns.

The burger weighs about seven pounds, and if you think you can handle it, you can try the "Gridiron Burger Challenge!" If you can finish it in under an hour, you win a Cardinals jersey!

You will also get your picture on the video board.

The "Gridiron Burger" costs $75.

Some of the other new items include the "Churro Donut Sundae," the "Dirty Fried Bird," and the "Taco Dilla."
