Phoenix police are investigating after a woman was found dead inside the truck of a vehicle over the weekend.
Police tell us that they were originally called to an illegally parked car in the area of 6200 West Earll Drive, near 63rd Ave and Thomas, around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
While officers were preparing to have the vehicle towed, they discovered the body of a Hispanic woman in her 20s.
Police say there were obvious signs of trauma on the body and they believe the homicide occurred at the victim's residence at 6100 W. Earll Drive.
The victim's identification has not been released, pending next of kin notification. Police believe the victim's family is in Mexico.
