PHOENIX (FOX 10) -- The visitation privileges of a man seeing convicted killer Jodi Arias behind bars were revoked after the Arizona Department of Corrections stated he brought contraband inside the prison where she's being held.
According to records obtained by FOX 10, Steve Joyner was reprimanded in February. The department says he had two alcohol prep pads in his sock, which set off the metal detector at the Perryville Prison in Goodyear.
The prison suspended Joyner's visitation and phone call privileges for six months. After that time, he'll be able to apply again.
Arias is serving life in prison for the 2008 murder of Travis Alexander at his home in Mesa.
