Chandler teen found, suspect reportedly in custody

An Amber Alert that was issued for a missing 15-year-old Chandler teen was cancelled Monday afternoon.

According to the FBI in Phoenix, Terrianne Brooks was found safe, and the suspect, identified as 40-year-old Douglas Jones, was taken in custody.

According to a statement issued by the FBI in Phoenix Monday afternoon, Brooks and Jones was located in a remote area of the Navajo Reservation. The closest city to the area, according to the statement, is Tuba City.

In earlier statements, FBI officials said Brooks was last seen near Rural Road and Desert Breeze Lane on January 10, and the man she may have been with was, according to officials, possibly armed with an assault rifle.
