Child located in Hayden, AZ amber alert

HAYDEN, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police in Hayden, Arizona have canceled an an Amber Alert issued Monday night for a missing baby

The suspect 40-year-old Emmett Sims, reportedly is the father of the child and took the baby from his ex-girlfriend.

Police say Sims found out where the mother and child were staying when he forced his way in, grabbed the ex-girlfriend, and took the child.

Just before 10 p.m. Monday night authorities say they found the child.

The child Randy Sims weighs 40 pounds, and was wearing a black shirt with a Spiderman logo on the front and light blue sleeves underneath along with a diaper.

Emmett Sims is described as a 35-year-old man, 5'7" tall, 165 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white muscle shirt and light brown pants. He has a mole on his left cheek. Police say he took the child and left on foot.
