American Airlines making changes to prevent heat-related flight delays
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A year ago in 2017, things got so hot in Phoenix that some American Airlines flights were grounded, as a result.
Smaller planes, the ones that primarily fly the regional routes, were impacted by the grounding. Since then, American Airlines has made some changes to prevent heat-related delays and cancellations in the future.
