PHOENIX (FOX 10) -- APS officials say over 4,000 customers are without power in parts of Northern Arizona, due to a winter storm that struck Arizona Thursday.
As of 2:17 p.m. Friday, APS officials say an estimated 1,034 customers are affected by a downed power line near Tonto Basin, in an area stretching from Rye to Cline Boulevard, and from Deer Creek Village to A Cross Road. Power in that area is expected to be restored at 4:00 p.m. Friday.
In addition, APS officials say an estimated 3,979 customers are affected by a power outage due to storm-related conditions near Pine, in an area stretching from Highway 87 to Sharyn Road, and from Fossil Creek Road to Mogollon Drive.
As the storm hit the Valley on Thursday, APS officials also reported various service disruptions in the Phoenix area since 1:00 p.m. Thursday, with over 1,000 customers affected at one point. As of Friday, there are no power outages in the Valley.
Meanwhile, SRP officials also reported some power outages in the Phoenix area on Thursday, with over 1,000 customers affected at one point. Power has been restored as of Friday.
