Armed, shirtless suspect robs Circle K in west Phoenix

Police are searching for an armed suspect who was shirtless and armed with a knife when he robbed a Circle K.

The armed robbery happened on Monday, May 7, at about 10:30pm near 54th Avenue and Indian School Road. Police say the suspect entered the gas station and, when asked to leave, threatened the clerk with a knife. The suspect then stole a display of cigars and took off on foot heading east.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 20 to 24 years old, weighing 150 to 170 pounds, and measuring five feet four inches to five feet six inches tall.
