Baseline Killer case: Arizona Supreme Court considers appeal

It's been 10 years since the valley was terrorized by the "Baseline Killer."  Nine people were killed and a dozen more were sexually assaulted or kidnapped.

After a year of crime, DNA evidence led police to Mark Goudeau.  He was arrested and charged with 74 felonies, including nine first degree murder charges.

When the grueling trial ended, Goudeau was found guilty and later sentenced to death, but now that sentence is being appealed.

This is an automatic appeal -- what is the court looking for?  Another death penalty case that drew a lot of attention was about Debra Milke. She was convicted and sentenced to death for having two men kill her son in December, 1989. But that conviction was overturned and now she's free.  Is there any chance of something like this happening with Goudeau?

VIDEO: FOX 10's Rick D'Amico and Andrea Robinson talk to defense attorney Dwane Cates about the case.
