"Batman" to the rescue in Mesa

Last week Teshia Charley saw the caped-crusader arriving at the scene of a light rail crash in Mesa.

FOX 10 posted it onto Facebook and it got nearly 24,000 likes. It turns out that Mesa's Batman is a 26-year-old woman.

Kaitlyn Gower has been dressing up like Batman since a child. She heard the sirens when the accident happened and says she knew she had to go over there.

Gower sports her gear all over downtown Mesa. Her dad Mark says she has ADHD and her costume allows her to escape from that.

Behind the mask she calls out jaywalkers and distracted drivers.

At Gotham Comics and Coffee she chats with employees and customers about Batman memorabilia.
