I-10 reopens after big rig overturns west of Phoenix

TONOPAH, Ariz. - Eastbound Interstate 10 has reopened in western Maricopa County after a big rig loaded with food products overturned, injuring the driver.

Arizona Department of Public Safety Trooper Kameron Lee says a heavy duty tow truck was dispatched to help remove the big rig that overturned Wednesday morning near Tonopah.

Lee says the driver's injures don't appear life-threatening.

The state Department of Transportation says both lanes of eastbound traffic on I-10 reopened just before noon.

Tonopah is about 52 miles (84 kilometers) west of Phoenix.
