Body found in Chandler lake identified

CHANDLER, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Chandler Police are investigating the death of a man, after his body was discovered in a lake.

According to a statement, police were called to the area of Arizona Avenue and Lake Drive at around 11:30 a.m., for a male subject discovered in the lake. When first responders arrived, police say they discovered the male subject is dead.

The person was identified by Chandler Police Sunday afternoon as Jared Austin Brandstatter, 20. Brandstatter, according to police, was reported missing on November 21, and there is no cause of death at this time.
