PHOENIX - The southbound lanes of I-17 are back open, following a brush fire that closed the highway Friday afternoon.
Earlier on Friday, the Arizona Department of Transportation says the closure was situated about 20 miles south of Cordes Junction, and warned warned drivers to adjust their travel plans.
