TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ/AP) - Saying he "is 100 percent focused on being part of the solution," Arizona Cardinals three-time All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson released a statement on Wednesday amid trade rumors.
In a tweet, Peterson admitted to being frustrated by the team's 1-6 start to the season, but said he's "an Arizona Cardinal, and my focus is on this weeks game."

Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks said on Tuesday that it was "out of the question" that the team would trade Peterson, in response to multiple reports that Peterson asked the Cardinals for a trade.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Peterson met with team president Michael Bidwill to discuss his role going forward with the Cardinals.
