Cleanup efforts underway at Fear Farm due to flooding

PHOENIX -- One of the businesses still reeling from the storms over the weekend is Fear Farm. Their crews are working hard to get things cleaned up so they can re-open.

"The water level had gotten so high, the water was flowing out to middle of 99th Avenue out here," said Fear Farm's Robert Busse.

Crews were pumping out water in the ticket booth.

"We're here, trying to do damage control right now," said Busse.

With the usual ghosts and ghouls nowhere to be seen, the spirits are low at the Fear Farm.

"They're a little low. We're trying to stay positive."

This family-owned business lost hundreds of customers on Saturday. Fans of Fear Farm took to social media to express their dismay.

One posting on Facebook simply, "Booo!," while another commented, "Man you guys are getting killed this year. The real scary monster at Fear Farm is the weather lol."

The owners say they still need a few days to recover, so Fear Farm will be closed temporarily. But no worries! The evil spirits will be out, haunting the Fear Farm again on Wednesday.

There is more rain in the forecast for this upcoming weekend as well, but the owners are crossing their fingers, hoping things change.
