Police: Circle K clerk beaten during store robbery

- Phoenix Police officials are looking for two women accused of stealing cigarettes and assaulting a man at a convenience store.

The incident took place at a Circle K store near 47th Avenue and Indian School Road on the afternoon of October 3. The two allegedly entered the store, went behind the counter, and removed multiple packs of cigarettes.

When an employee tried to stop the suspects, police said one of them slapped and kicked the victim. Both suspects were seen running from the scene, heading south.

According to police, the first suspect is a Hispanic woman, about 25 years old, 5' 5" tall, weighing 130 lbs, and last seen wearing blue Nike sweatshirt, black pants, and a blue hat. The second suspect is a Hispanic woman, about 25 years old, 5' 3" tall, weighing 120 lbs, and last seen wearing a black jacket, camouflage pants, and black and red hat.
