Construction worker falls 30 feet off scaffolding at Sun Devil Stadium

TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A construction worker was injured after falling more than 30 feet while working inside Sun Devil Stadium on Wednesday.

The Arizona State Police Department tells Fox 10 that the worker fell at about 10 a.m., after he was knocked off of scaffolding. He suffered face and arm injuries and was transported to Scottsdale Osborn, where he remains in serious condition.

Tempe fire crews say the worker fell between 25 and 35 feet before hitting the ground.

ASU police say more information will be released at a later time.
