County attorney suspends prosecution in hoarding case

It is an update to the story being dubbed the Noah's Ark hoarding case.

Back in January 61-year-old Andrea Mikkel was arrested by MCSO deputies.

Her animals were seized during the raid, one of them was a Zebra.

"We've suspended prosecution, and she's agreed to a diversion program, she can keep no more than five animals, the care of the animals must be supervised, and she must undergo psychiatric treatment. As part of the deal she must sell her remaining animals," said Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery.
