Crews battle the Cowboy Fire near Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Firefighters are battling three lightning caused fires burning in Coconino County.

One of the fires is called the Cowboy Fire and it's burning on I-17 about eight miles south of Flagstaff.

Fire crews responded to the scene Monday morning around 9 a.m. near milepost 331.

ADOT has placed signs nearby warning motorists of the fire because smoke may reduce visibility.
