Crews rescue man who fell 20 feet in Peoria

- Crews in Peoria have rescued a man who fell 20 feet after his safety harness failed.

According to Peoria fire spokesperson Stacy Irvine, a man in his 40s fell 20 feet into a 2 into a water life station after his safety harness failed.

The man possibly has a fractured leg and was responsive when crews arrived at the scene near Vistanica Blvd. and Lone Mountain Parkway. He was transported to a nearby hospital.

Crews from Peoria, Phoenix, Glendale, Surprise and AFMA assisted with the rescue.
