Desert Challenge Games in Phoenix

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The Desert Challenge Games are happening at Papago Park in Phoenix on Sunday.

More than 300 athletes are competing to try to qualify for this summer's Paralympic Games.

Courtney Griffin spent time at the archery event happening on Sunday.

The three-day event for all ages is for athletes with any physical disability.

They compete in events that include track and field, archery, swimming and air rifle and pistol shooting.
