Donald Trump chooses DeWitt as campaign COO

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Donald Trump has tapped a high ranking Arizona official for a spot in his campaign. State Treasurer Jeff DeWitt is now Trump's National Campaign COO.

Dewitt had been Trump's Arizona campaign chairman, but now he has a bigger role.

Dewitt said he ran a company for 14 years and was well versed on the operations of businesses and is looking to help the Trump campaign however he can. He plans to remain State Treasurer and says he can balance both responsibilities.

DeWitt says by next week Trump will have open officers in all 50 states.
