Downtown workers aim to raise $100k for homeless aid

Am ambitious new project is launching in downtown Tempe.

A group of business owners began a mission to raise $100,000 a year to help the homeless. And they're turning to some pretty unique methods to raise the money.

Beer, parking meters, and t-shirts. These are things that might not normally strike you as charitable but they are helping out the homeless in Tempe thanks to the people of downtown.

Called "Tempe Mission" the downtown Tempe business community pledged to raise $100,000 to help battle homelessness. A problem downtown employees are passionate about.
