DPS: Suspect who pointed gun at trooper arrested

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Authorities say a suspect who pointed a gun at a Department of Public Safety trooper has been arrested.

DPS says the incident began when the suspect pointed a gun at the trooper during a traffic stop near the Loop 101 and Indian School and then fled the scene.

The trooper pursued the suspect to a nearby apartment complex where he was taken into custody.
