Suspect arrested after truck crashes into home

Police have arrested a man after a stolen pickup truck crashed into a valley home on Friday.

Phoenix police tell Fox 10 that the truck crashed into a home near 16th Avenue and Broadway. The 45-year-old driver left the home after the crash, but was arrested after he was found hiding inside a closet in a nearby home.

The residents of the home that the truck crashed into were asleep inside and they were not injured. Police say the suspect suffered injuries during the crash and he will be booked into jail after he is released from the hospital.

The suspect faces charges related to leaving the scene of a traffic collision, auto theft and burglary. His name has not been released.
